hould I choose equipment with a built-in rangefinder?
A built-in rangefinder could be useful if I regularly need distance information. However, I wouldn't pay significantly more for it unless I knew I would actually use the feature. My priorities would remain image quality, reliability, ergonomics, and overall value.

💰 Discussion on Coin Sorters: Mechanism, Applications, and Maintenance
A coin sorter is a specialized machine designed to automate the process of organizing and separating mixed currency coins by their denomination. Often confused with basic coin counters, sorters go a step further by physically separating coins into distinct compartments or tubes.
Mechanical Sorting (Size-Based): Coins are often passed over a surface or through channels with progressively sized holes or slots. The smallest coins fall through the first corresponding hole, the next largest through the next, and so on. This mechanism relies on the coin's diameter and thickness.

I agree that a built-in rangefinder is more of a useful bonus than an essential feature. If accurate distance measurements are important for your activities, it can definitely make things more convenient. I’d also compare image quality, controls, battery life, and durability before deciding. I’ve found it helpful to browse options from AGM Global Vision at https://www.agmglobalvision.com/blogs/agm-blog/night-vision-vs-thermal-optics, since they offer different devices with practical features worth comparing.
